Lack of diversity in leadership is barrier to innovation

Diversity of thought and culture in management is a question not exploited by global companies. According to a survey by Ernst & Young, only 5% of the top management of companies operating in over 25 countries are based outside of the matrix, indicating that companies err on the diversity of thought and culture.
"The economic crisis requires us to rethink the ways in which businesses have been conducted. Topping the list of what should be examined is the connection between diversity of thought and innovation. The corporate leaders need to think about the lack of diverse perspectives can affect the global growth plans, new products or mergers and acquisitions, "said James Turley, CEO of Ernst & Young.
